Danny Glover is the devilish old family friend who provokes both horror and nostalgia when he comes to stay in South Central. His charming nature soon sees him accepted into the heart of the family and at first things work well. As time passes, however, his presence begins to provoke turmoil and the small cracks in the family relationships begin to widen and old feelings of hatred come to the fore.
