Alvin Johnson is a likable high school outcast. Increasingly frustrated by his lack of popularity, he decides to take drastic action and hires the queen of the 'Elites', Paris, to pose as his girlfriend. The plan begins to work and Alvin soon has more friends than ever before. As his popularity grows, Alvin's ego threatens to get out of control as he upsets his true friends as well as blow any chance he might have of a real relationship with Paris.
